NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Geraldine Mynatt Bolin, 91, of Roxie, who died Friday, Feb. 28, 2020, in Jackson will be Saturday, March 7, at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Roxie with Pastor Carl Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Roxie cemetery under the directions of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 6, from 5:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. with a “Celebration of Life” wake service at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 10 a.m. until time of the service at the church.

Geraldine was born May 14, 1928 in Knoxville, TN, the daughter of Charles Mynatt and Vera Badgett Mynatt. She was retired from Mississippi Action for Progress and was a member of Roxie First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by husband, Luther Bolin, Jr.; parents; sisters, Jamesena Finley and Charlestine Lockhart; brothers, Harold, Lionel, Norman, Paul, Maurice and Charles Mynatt; and great granddaughter, Londyn Jones.

Geraldine leaves to cherish her memories six sons, Edward Bolin and wife Mary, Billy Bolin and wife Gloria, Charles Bolin and wife Tonya, Timmy Bolin and wife Jackie, Michael Bolin, and Luther Bolin III and wife Paula; five daughters, Joyce Dunbar and husband Abram, Deloris Flenory and husband Clifford, Norma Wilder and husband Reuben, Audrey Farmer and husband Sean, and Brenda Jones and husband Lawrence; one brother, Donald Mynatt; four sisters, Laverne Johnson and husband Frank, Jackie Tucker and husband Chester, Karen Talley and husband Patrick and Lynn Mynatt, 39 grandchildren, 70, great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
