NATCHEZ — Mr. Dannie Havard Carter III, 65, of Natchez, passed away on March 4, 2020. He was born in Natchez on Jan. 28, 1955. Dannie was a loving husband, father, a successful car salesman for 25 years, and enjoyed playing the piano, cooking food, and telling stories in his free time.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dannie Havard Carter Jr. and June Smith Carter.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marianne Carter; son, Stephen Morris Carter; daughter, Danielle Carter Williams and her husband, Mark; step-children, Kevin Thomas, Tammy Thomas, Shawn Dion, Sylvie Dion, and Natasha LeBlanc; grandchildren, Olivia Kate Williams, Laura Madison Williams; step-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Jayden, Carter, Dyson, Devon, Damon, Isaiah, and Jersey; sister, Deana Carter Hennington and her husband, Phil; and numerous friends and extended family in Canada.

A private memorial service for Dannie was held under the direction of Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home.
