Natchez mayor closes parks, tennis and golf pro shops

NATCHEZ, Mississippi – Tuesday, March 17, 2020 – Natchez Mayor Darryl Grennell has announced additional closures to city
properties:

  • All public playground equipment is closed. No one is allowed to
    use playground equipment or congregate at a playground.
  • The Duncan Park Tennis Pro Shop is closed.
  •  The Duncan Park Golf Pro Shop is closed.
  • The Mayor urges all Natchezians to continue to abide by President
  • Trump’s “Coronavirus Guidelines for Americans”, which Mayor Grennell reiterated in an official statement to the press on Monday, March 16.
