Adams County, Franklin County now have confirmed COVID-19 cases; Mississippi cases up to 80

The Mississippi Department of Health reported Friday morning one positive test of COVID-19 in Adams County and one positive test in Franklin County.  Thursday one positive case was identified in Wilkinson County

Mississippi reported one death from COVID-19 Thursday, a man from Hancock County

MDH reported Friday the total number of cases in the state has increased to 80 cases. As of Friday morning, the total number of individuals tested for COVID-19 by the MSDH Public Health Laboratory and private laboratories is 602.

The Department of Health website, which reports the confirmed and presumptive cases of the virus does not list any additional information about the cases. On Friday morning the MDH reported 30 additional cases  in the state in the following counties:
