NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Sidney Keith Smith, 82, of Natchez, who died Sunday, March 29, 2020, at Riverbridge Specialty Hospital, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 2, at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Dillon Wickliffe officiating.  Services will be under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mr. Smith was born Feb. 18, 1938, in Jefferson County, the son of Sidney Alex Smith and Ruby Lee Pritchard Smith.

He retired from International Paper Company.  To most at IP, he was known as “Snuffy”.  After retirement, he and Joy enjoyed traveling and went on many mission trips throughout the South.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers Larry Smith, Stanley Smith, and Billy Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Joy Smith, one son Calvin Smith of Caledonia, Ms., two daughters Rhonda Smith of Bethpage Tn., Susan Smith Brown of Buckeye, Az. Four grandchildren Joshua, Amber, Erin and Austyn, and seven great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers will be Riley Temple and Wayne Holmes.
