NATCHEZ — Annette Pierce Lowery, 82, died Saturday, April 4, 2020, in Hutto, TX.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 9, at 10 a.m. under the direction of Laird Funeral Home. Brother Raj Bahara will officiate. Due to coronavirus, services will be family only.
She was born Aug. 28, 1937, in Flomaton, AL, to Henry Arthur Pierce, Sr. and Annie Mae Bonds Pierce.
She was married to Robert Rankin Lowery (Bob) for over 50 years. Due to Bob’s service career, they had the opportunity to travel and live all over the World, her favorite was Germany. She moved to Vidalia in the early 70’s and she and Bob raised their family there. She was a stay at home mom until she took a part time job at Dollar General to help a friend with yearend inventory and then worked her way to become manager of Dollar General.
Annette was preceded in death by both parents, her husband Bob, her sisters Mavis Pierce Bihary, Betty Pierce Elliot, brothers Lee Pierce, Rufus Pierce, and Howard Pierce.
She was the youngest of 8 children and is survived by her brother, Henry Arthur Pierce, Jr., sister Marjorie Pierce Jones, brother- in- law William Jones and brother- in- law William Bihary. She is also survived by her three children and their spouses, daughter Teresa Lowery Bryan (Terre), son- in- law Thomas Mason Bryan III, son Robert Douglas Lowery (Doug), daughter-in-law Donita Ellis Lowery, daughter Robyn Lowery McElroy and son-in-law Sean Christopher McElroy. Annette is also survived by one beloved grandchild Sarah Elizabeth Bryan.
