NATCHEZ — Visitation for Charles C. Johnson, 79, of Natchez, who died Apr. 5, 2020 at Natchez Merit Medical Center will be Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Concordia Funeral Home.
Due to the unforeseen circumstances, the COVID-19, strictly enforced guidelines have been issued by the State of Louisiana Government, we ask that you respect the gathering of 10 persons at a time so that the community can safely view Charles Johnson.
Charles C. Johnson was born Nov. 15, 1940, in Round Lake, MS, the son of Curtis and Addie Jordan Johnson.
Mr. Johnson was a man who wore several hats in the Miss-Lou surroundings and will be truly missed by many. He was retired from Concordia Parish and Adams County School Systems, a Deacon, Minister of Assembly and Senior Bible study teacher at Living Word Worship Center of Natchez, MS and a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. His awesome energy was shared as a loving husband, father, uncle, brother, grandfather, Godfather, Educator, Coach, Deacon and so much more.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, MaryAnn Wilson; three brothers, Ira Johnson, Quinton Johnson, Marshall Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Lillian B. Johnson, Natchez, MS; two sons, Kerwin Ken Johnson (Duretha), Dallas, TX, Terrance Johnson, Columbus, OH; one daughter, Erika Johnson Williams, Desoto, TX; two sisters, Joanna Washington, Memphis, TN, Josephine Hawkins, Vidalia, LA; fifteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four Godchildren, Chazeman Jackson, Alexandria, VA; Jaylan Green, London Smith, both of Natchez, MS, Zanetta Floyd, Dallas, TX; his special nurse, Quenta Marie Calhoun (Robert), Vidalia, LA; two that was raised as his own children, Billy Cage (Pat), Jackson, MS, Johnny McFolling (Brenda), Houston, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, Living Word Worship Center members and friends.
