NATCHEZ — The Adams County Coroner announced Adams County’s third COVID-19 death on Tuesday morning.

James Lee, Adams County coroner, said he pronounced the unnamed white female dead at 8 a.m. Tuesday at Merit Health Natchez.

“She is someone I worked with during my tenure as coroner,” Lee said. “She was a very loving person and my heart goes out to her family.”

The information will be forwarded to the Mississippi State Department of Health for verification before the MSDH adds the death to its statewide COVID-19 reports.
