VIDALIA — Graveside services for Ernest Walker, 61, of Sacramento, California, formerly of Vidalia, who passed away Feb. 26, 2020, in Sacramento, will be at a later date.

He was born on Oct. 9, 1958, to Robert Hardy and Dorothy Walker Baker.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Hattie Walker Garrison and grandfathers, Richard Garrison and Emanuel Walker, special aunt (mom) Ludie Bell, whom raised him as a son and his twin sister, Earnestine Walker.

Those left to cherish his memories are: son, Ernest Walker, Jr., Sacramento; mother, Dorothy Walker Baker; sisters, Linda W. Alsworth and Hattie S. Neal (Vincent); a special cousin (sister), Luberta Bell Lyons (Don) all of Vidalia; brothers, Huey Walker, Austin, Texas, and Bennie Scott, III, Pompano Beach, Florida; two very special caregivers, Cynthia Higgs and Pamela Timms (goddaughter) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
