Concordia Parish reports new case of virus

The Concordia Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness reported a new case of COVID-19 in the parish Sunday.
OEP director Timothy Vanier said the new case is from a 45-year-old white female who tested positive at Riverland Medical Center.
In all, Concordia Parish has had 41 cases of the virus. Of the 41 cases, 35 of those with the virus were African American, one was Hispanic and five were Caucasian.
The parish has had three deaths from the virus.
