NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Jessie “Jeff” Winston, 109, of Natchez, who died April 15, 2020, will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2020, at Sunset View Memorial Park with Pastor Leroy White, officiating.
Burial will follow at the cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Services.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at Bateaste Memorial Funeral Services Chapel.
He was preceded in death by his parents: George Winston and Annie Wade, wife Emma Owens-Winston, siblings: Walter Winston, Willie Winston, Susie Turner, and Mamie Wade, grandson: Anthony M. Galvin, and great-grandchild: Anthony Galvin, Jr.
Mr. Winston leaves to cherish his memory four daughters; a devoted daughter Helen Winston, Dorothy Winston, Diane Butler all of Natchez, MS and Jessie Galvin of Chicago, IL. Step-son Andrew Collins, Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO, step-daughter Betty Malone, special family friend Cynthia Alfred both of Natchez and brother-in-law Lee Owens of Biloxi.
A devoted granddaughter Kameika “Nikki”(Michael) Townsend of Natchez. Special grandchildren; Terrell (Monica) Butler of Natchez, Christopher (Cynthia) Owens of Columbia, MO, Kenneth (Rosana) Butler of Hurst, TX , Kenneth (Roni) Galvin, Diane Johnson, Anthony D. Galvin all of Chicago, IL and Monique Galvin of Fort Worth, TX, extended granddaughter Diane Kingsberry of North Carolina; Twenty great-grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
