NATCHEZ — Graveside services for James Louis Spencer, 77, of Natchez, who died April 21, 2020, at Natchez Merit Health Hospital will be held Friday, May 1, 2020, at 11 a.m., at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery with Minister Michael Hoggatt, officiating.

A walk-through-only visitation will take place Thursday, April 30, 2020, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Marshall Funeral Home in Natchez.

James Louis Spencer is the son of the late Clinton and Ruby Spencer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Joyce Young of Inglewood, CA.

He leaves to cherish his memories; former wife and caretaker, Ruby Lucas; sons, Trazell Spencer (Stacy) and Cedric Spencer (Danielle); five grandchildren, Tiffany Taylor, Cedrelle Spencer, Cedric Spencer, Jr., Christopher Spencer, and Patience Owens; two-great grandchildren, Brayden Taylor and Treyven Taylor; first cousin who was raised as a sister, Leslie Hickingbottom; second cousin, Shannon Butler; goddaughter, Jannifer Hendricks Corbin; nephew, Keith Young; former in-laws; and a host of other relatives and many good friends.
