On Sunday, the Mississippi State Department of Health reported 123 new COVID-19 cases and nine new deaths in the state.

Mississippi’s total number of COVID-19 cases since March 11 now stands at 9,501 with 430 deaths.

MSDH reports the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Adams County stands at 159 with 12 COVID-19-related deaths. Five deaths and 39 cases were patients in long-term care facilities in the county.

The number of Mississippians hospitalized with the virus as of 6 p.m. Saturday has increased slightly 447 patients.
