NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Bessie Mae Miller, 82, of Natchez, who passed away at her residence in Natchez, on May 11, 2020, will be held under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Bessie was born in Winona, Mississippi, on Jan. 16, 1938, to James Brown and Mary Ellen Marshall Brown.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Brown; mother, Mary Ellen Marshall Brown Young and stepfather, Edward Young.

Bessie leaves to cherish her memory three loving and devoted children: Clarence Brown of Natchez, Lynda Powell of Jackson, and Willie (Cassandra) Miller, Jr. of Belton, Texas; ten grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; one aunt, Inell Marshall Lyles of Natchez; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Bessie was greatly loved by those who knew her, will be sorely missed, and forever cherished.
