NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Debra Ann Lyles-Whittley, 58, of Natchez, who died Wednesday. May 13, 2020, in Natchez, will be at Mercy Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Walter Sago officiating.

Burial will follow at the cemetery under the directions of West Gate Funeral Home.

Debra was born March 3, 1962, in Natchez, the daughter of Williams Lyles, Sr., and Hattie Mae Woods. She was educated in the Natchez-Adams Public School District and was a retired cook from the school district. Mrs. Whittley was a member of Mercy Seat Baptist Church. Debra enjoyed family gatherings, spending time with friends, music and living life her way.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, William Lyles, Jr. and daughter, Shonae Koshae Lyles.

Debra leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, David Whittley; son, Travon Lyles, Sr.; Danica Whittley; brothers, Contreal Lyles, Sr. and wife Julia; sisters, Linda Ruth Perry and husband Joseph, Bridget Woods and husband Eric, Amber Shannon and husband Jamal; sister-in-law, Juanella Lyles; grandchildren, Nakia, Destiny, Travon, Jr., Treshun, Marianna, and Yasmine; great-grandchild, Dayley Whittley, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
