NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Master Sgt. (Ret) Ronald Robinson, 73, of Columbus, Georgia were held Friday, May 15, 2020, at Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the graveside services were limited.
Ronald and his twin brother, Donald, were born April 12, 1947, in Indianola, Mississippi to Cecil Robinson and Catherine Morgan. Ronald passed away May 2, 2020, in Columbus.
Ronald is a military retiree who spent two tours of combat duty in Vietnam. One tour in Vietnam was served with his twin brother, Donald Robinson. Three of Ronald’s four brothers served in Vietnam.
Ronald is survived by, daughter, Cathy Wistafke of Huntsville, Alabama and four brothers, Col. (Ret) Cecil Robinson Jr. of Melbourne, Florida, Raybon Robinson of Guntersville, Alabama, Chief Warrant Officer 3 (Ret) Alton Robinson of Orlando, Fl. and his twin brother, Chief Warrant Officer 2 (Ret) Donald Robinson of Leesville, Louisiana. Ronald will be greatly missed, especially by his church family and the caregivers at Marie’s Care Home in Columbus. Ronald will be forever loved and cherished by those who were closest to him.
