NATCHEZ – Graveside services for Shirley Ann Sherman, 65, of Natchez, MS, who passed away at her residence in Natchez, MS, on May 9, 2020, will be officiated by Rev. Joe Pickett under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Shirley was born in Natchez, MS, on February 16, 1955, to Roosevelt and Catherine Reynolds Stokes.

She was preceded in death by her father; one son, Michael Sherman; and one sister, Lavonne Stokes.

Shirley leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Howard Sherman of Natchez, MS; her mother, Catherine Reynolds Stokes of Natchez, MS; two daughters, Vernell (Steven) Sampleton and Victoria (Seth) Scipio of Killeen, TX; one son, Darron (Sheila) Sherman Sr. of Killeen, TX; one sister, Sarah Lee Stewart of Seattle, WA; three brothers: Roosevelt Stokes and Phillip Stokes Sr. both of Natchez, MS, and Carl Lee Stokes Sr. of Gastonia, NC; eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
