Mayoral candidates address questions of crime, finances, jobs and other issues facing voters

NATCHEZ —Natchez Mayoral candidates Tony Fields and Dan Gibson participated Monday afternoon in a Natchez Democratic Mayoral Candidates Question and Answer session co-hosted by The Natchez Democrat and The Bluff City Post.

In the 25-minute video question and answer session, Fields and Gibson alternate answering reader-submitted questions directed to them by moderators from The Natchez Democrat and The Bluff City Post.

Questions were focused on topics including whether the candidates would give up their day jobs if they are elected Natchez Mayor, their plans for recruiting and retaining businesses and industries and plans for fighting crime in the community.
