NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Betty Joycee Washington, 50, of Natchez, MS, who passed away in Natchez, on May 23, 2020, were held on Monday, June 1, 2020, at Elgin Cemetery at 11 a.m. with a visitation graveside from 10 a.m. until service time; under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Relatives and friends were respectfully invited to attend walk-through visitation services on Sunday, May 31, 2020, from 3 to 4 p.m. at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel Natchez.
Betty was born on Oct. 8, 1969, in Natchez, to Joseph Volley Washington Sr. and Jesse Lee Stampley Washington.
She served her church Wayside Lighthouse Love and Holiness Church faithfully; she was active in NASD serving as Parent Ambassador.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father.
Betty leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters, Kimberly Coleman and her husband, Aaron, Antryonna Washington and Tyneaqua Washington all of Natchez, MS; two brothers, Joseph V. Washington Jr. and his wife Mitzi of Searcy, Arkansas and Troy Washington Sr. of Natchez; a special friend, Tony Minor of Natchez, and a host of other relatives and friends that loved her dearly.
