NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Gloria Dean Carter-Dear, 64, of Berwick, LA, formerly of Natchez, who passed away in New Iberia, LA, on May 25, 2020, will be held Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Sunset View Memorial Park under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Gloria will have a walk through visitation on Wednesday, June the 3, 2020 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez, MS. We request that each individual wear your mask and to remember social distancing.

Gloria was born July 29, 1955, in Natchez, MS to Charlie J. Carter and Gloria Mae Holmes.

Gloria loved church and spending time with her family.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; two siblings, Charlie Bethley and Donovan Carter; aunts and uncles.

Gloria leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Percy James Dear Jr.; two sons, Frederick James Cater Sr.  and wife Rhonda and Percy Jerell Dear and wife Jasmine; four grandchildren, Frederick Carter Jr., Rodney Carter, Jazrielle Dear and Jamari Dear; four sisters, Linda Carter, Mary Cribb, Anquenett Taplin and LaMartine Bethley; five brothers, Erwin Carter, Lovell Carter, Jimmy Carter, Elvan Carter and Alphonse Bethley; one best friend, Myra Delco;  and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
