NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Myrna Morrison French, 89, of Natchez, who died Monday, June 1, 2020, in Vidalia will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at Jersey Settlers Cemetery with Brother Phillip Watts officiating. Services are under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. French was born Oct. 17, 1930, in Natchez, MS the daughter of Doyle Morrison and Nellie Pearl Gray Morrison.

She was a charter member of Cliff Temple Baptist Church. She loved to read her bible, adult coloring books and crossword puzzles.

Mrs. French is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Posey Eugene French, Jr.; one son, Kenneth French; one sister, Elizabeth Ashley; and two brothers, Paul Morrison and Doyle Morrison.

Survivors include two sons, Ronnie French and wife Vicki of Bastrop, LA and Richard French and wife Shirley of Natchez, MS; one sister in law Martha French of Pascagoula, MS; grandchildren Shane French, Tracy French, Amanda Woodson, Dusty Holloway and Lisa June; and nine great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Shane French, Dusty Holloway, Cody Watson, Cade Woodson, Austin Stanley and Charlie Stevens.

Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Jordan, Jamie Jordan, Leonard McManus, Robert Warren, Eric Warren and Darwin Robinson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
