VIDALIA — Graveside services for Diane Fitt, 71, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, June 6, 2020, in Vidalia will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at Natchez City Cemetery with Rev. Pat Anders, Rev. Kenneth Ensminger and Rev. Johnny Hardy officiating.  Services will be under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Fitt was born on July 19, 1948, in Hattiesburg, MS the daughter of Albert Faulkner and Terry Adelia Fortenberry Faulkner.

She was a member of Ferriday Church of God.  She loved gardening, watching movies, cooking and taking her family out to eat.

Mrs. Fitt was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters Louise Ferry and Marilyn Rodgers and granddaughter Hannah Steel.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Johnny Wade Fitt; one son Billy Wayne Fitt and wife Keisha Fitt; two daughters, Tonia Ensminger and husband Alan Ensminger and Sherry Baily and husband Cap Pressgrove; 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters Ceil McCarstle and husband Ted McCarstle and Terry Anders and husband Ricky Anders, Sr.; two brothers in law, Jerry Rodgers and David Ferry; special niece and caregiver Candace Anders and dog Mimi.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Anders, Sr., Billy Wayne Fitt, Joshua Gage Fitt, Ricky Anders, Jr., Jerry Wayne Rodgers, and Billy Howell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter Earl Lucas, Levi Damond Fitt and Leighton Drake Fitt.

The family would like to thank Encompass Hospice for the special love and care given to Mrs. Fitt.
