Mr. and Mrs. John Edward Taylor Jr. of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter Pepper Dorothea Taylor to Mr. William Wesley Self, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Patrick Sandlin of Oxford, Mississippi, and Mr. and Mrs. Peyton Marion Burford Self III of Oxford.
Miss Taylor is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Noland Edward Biglane of Natchez and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Edward Taylor of Yazoo City.
She received her bachelor of arts degree in communication with an emphasis in public relations from Mississippi State University and her master of science degree in integrated marketing communications from the University of Mississippi. Currently, Miss Taylor is the Digital Fundraising Specialist at Ducks Unlimited in Memphis, Tennessee.
Mr. Self is the grandson of Mrs. Curtis Edward Presley Jr., and the late Mr. Presley Jr. of Clarksdale and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Callicott Self of Marks.
A graduate of The McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor of science degree in geological engineering, Mr. Self serves as a graduate engineer and project manager for Intertek-PSI in Memphis.
The couple will be married on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020, at Saint Mary Basilica in Natchez. Formal invitations, limited for the safety and health of all, will be sent.
