Coroner reports another Adams County COVID-19 death
NATCHEZ — Adams County Coroner James Lee said he pronounced an Adams County resident of a long–term care facility dead of confirmed COVID-19 on Monday morning.
Lee said he also pronounced another Adams County resident dead of suspected COVID-19 over the weekend but is awaiting test results to confirm whether the death was a result of COVID-19.
The confirmed death was a 59-year-old-female that Lee said he pronounced dead at 6:40 a.m. Monday.
“The patient had an underlying medical history that complicated the prognosis,” Lee said.
