Kayla Gilmore goes 2-for-3 with two doubles and Bailey Book pitches five solid innings as the Vidalia 11-12 All-Stars defeat Avoyelles Extreme 9-7 to win the Little League Fast-Pitch Softball District Tournament.

FIVE YEARS AGO

Sam Stout goes 3-for-3 and five of his teammates each go 3-for-4 as the Natchez Dixie Youth 8-year-old All-Stars defeat the Brookhaven Americans 19-15 to win the sub-district tournament with a 3-0 record.
