Nov. 17, 1961 – July 4, 2020

WOODVILLE — Tawnya Camille Bonnette Morris of Woodville, Mississippi, 58, went to be with our Lord on July 4, 2020. She died at her home surrounded by family and friends.

Tawnya was born on Nov. 17, 1961, in New Orleans, Louisiana to Shirley Bonnette Wells and JK Bonnette of Crosby.

She graduated from Wilkinson County Christian Academy in 1979 and Alcorn School of Nursing in 1991.

Tawnya was employed by Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.

Tawnya was married to Tim Morris on Feb. 28, 1980, in Woodville. They had one child, Lydia Ann “Liddy.”

Tawnya was a member of Pioneer Baptist Church.

Tawnya was preceded in death by her parents.

She was survived by her husband, Tim; daughter, Lydia Wolf “Liddy” and son in law, Joseph Wolf, Jr.; two brothers, Terry Bonnette of Crosby, and Timmy Bonnette and wife Mary of Crosby, Mississippi; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 5, 2020, at Pioneer Baptist Church, Buffalo Road, Woodville, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Viewing on Monday, July 6, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Funeral Service at 11 a.m., followed by Graveside Service at Enlow Cemetery, Silver Creek Road, Crosby. Interment at Enlow Cemetery under the direction of Newman Funeral Home.
