Hall is our pick for Ward 1 Natchez alderman

Voters will go to the polls Tuesday to vote in the Natchez municipal general election to decide who will serve the next four years in aldermen seats for Ward 1 and Ward 4 and for Natchez Mayor.

In the race for Ward 1 Natchez Alderman, Democratic Party nominee Valencia Hall will face independent candidate Jamar White.

The Democrat’s pick is Valencia Hall.

While White is an impressive young candidate with some great ideas and accomplishments from his educational career, we believe he will have a bright political career ahead of him in the future.

For now, however, we believe Hall’s depth of experience and platform of municipal budgetary responsibility and unity in the community make her the hands-down best choice for the job.

We believe Hall’s experience will pay off not only for Natchez residents in Ward 1 but also for residents throughout Natchez.

The Natchez Democrat will share our pick for Ward 4 alderman in Friday’s edition and our pick for Mayor in Sunday’s edition.
