On Thursday, von Drehle Corporation in Natchez celebrated the upcoming retirement of David Webb, age 72, with a surprise party held in his honor.

Webb’s official last day is Dec. 30, on the 55th anniversary of him starting work at the Diamond International manufacturing company where von Drehle is today.
