Fayette police investigating Thanksgiving night shooting, 2 people injured

FAYETTE — The Fayette Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred at a local gas station in Fayette on Thursday, Nov. 23, Thanksgiving night.
Officers were dispatched to the location at or around 9:30 p.m. after receiving a 911 call.
The two males involved were identified as 22-year-old Kelvion Tenner and 26-year-old Jarvanti Doss, both from Fayette.
Investigations revealed that Tenner and Doss exchanged gunfire and both sustained gunshot wounds.
Tenner was transported to a nearby hospital where he was treated and released.
Doss was airlifted to another medical facility. His condition is unknown at this time.
Upon being released, Tenner was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault. He is awaiting his initial court appearance.
Investigations remain ongoing, police officers said.
