Sheriff’s office seeking two men wanted for battery, false imprisonment

VIDALIA, La. — Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeing two men wanted on second-degree battery and false imprisonment charges.

Multiple arrests were recently made in connection with an incident where a woman alleged that several people had entered her home without permission, kicked and beat her, strangled her, covered her with Vic’s vapor rub and pepper spray and held her in another house overnight against her will.

The woman was able to identify her captors and deputies arrested Curtis Martin, 43; Dakota Tolbert, 29; Camelia Wilson, 42; Ginger Keith, 42; Jamarkus Colenburg, 24; and Billie Jean Ryan, 25. Deputies are still searching for two additional suspects: Henry Hinkston, 43, and Dustin Wright, 23.

Hinkston is described as having brown eyes, black hair, being 6 feet tall and 193 pounds. His last known address is 125 Ralphs Road.

Wright is described as having green eyes and brown hair and being 5 feet and 5 inches tall and 135 pounds. His last known address is 136 Doyle Road.

Tolbert, Wilson, Keith and Colenburg are each charged with home invasion and second-degree battery; Ryan with home invasion, second-degree battery and possession of schedule I and II controlled substances; and Martin with home invasion, second-degree battery, false imprisonment and possession of schedule I and II controlled substances.

According to a news release, CPSO patrol deputies responded to a Vidalia pharmacy when the female victim walked up asking for help with obvious injuries to her face and neck, stating that she had escaped from a nearby residence after being held against her will the night before.  Based on the evidence, multiple search warrants were obtained and all but the two suspects with active warrants were taken into custody.  During the operation, narcotics were seized from the residences, as well as from additional subjects not related to the investigation.

The victim received medical care and is currently in a safe location.

Anyone arrested is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
