NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Delores Young McCullen, 73, of Natchez, who departed this earthly life on Friday, December 1, 2023, in Natchez, will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at 2 p.m. at the Forest Aid Baptist Church with Rev. Joe W. Pickett officiating.

Burial will follow at the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue on Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time at the church.

Delores was born August 14, 1950, the daughter of Carrie Mae Young and Isiah Young, Sr. She attended Sadie V. Thompson High School and Los Angeles Business College. She retired from her Business Accounts Management position. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, dancing, spending time with her family and friends, and going to the casino.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Earl McCullen; her parents; brother, Isiah Young, Jr., and grandson, KeJuan McCullen.

Delores leaves to cherish her memories: sons, Jamal McCullen (Danessa) and Paxton McCullen, Sr.; daughter, Tegan McCullen; sister, Shirley Young; brother, Lonnie Young; grandchildren, Ashley, Sidney, J’Mya, Jaimee, Paxton, Jr., Keonte, Taylar, Ionna, Myrikle, Madison, and Jakeria; and a host of other relatives and friends.
