Harps Food Stores donates $2500 to Concordia Council on Aging

FERRIDAY, La. — Ferriday Market, owned by Harps Food Stores, has given a $2500 donation to Concordia Council on Aging.

The funds are going to be used by CCoA to help feed the elderly in the community during the upcoming Christmas season.

The funds were provided by Harps Food, through Ferriday Market, as part of the Christmas for Communities program.

An application for participation in the Christmas for Communities was submitted to Harps Food Stores by the store manager of Ferriday Market on behalf of CCoA.

“Giving back to the community is something that Ferriday Market has always loved to do. We are so pleased to once again partner with the Concordia Council on Aging to ensure the elderly in our community have access to a Christmas meal this year. The Markets have always been community-oriented, and we are honored to be able to continue that tradition.” said Anthony Gagnard, Store Manager of Ferriday Market.
