NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Darrell Owens, 41, of Natchez, who passed away on Dec. 13, 2023, at his residence, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023, at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez at 11 a.m. with Pastor Leroy White officiating under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Watkins Street Cemetery.

Visitation services will be held on Friday, Dec. 22, 2023, from noon to 4 p.m. and on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023, from 10 a.m. until the service time at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez.

Darrell was born on Sept. 17, 1982, in Natchez, MS, to Martha Ann Owens and Percy Lee Hunt.

He is preceded in death by his father; great-grandmother, Florence Owens; grandfather, Lee Owens; and grandmother, Florence Owens.

Darrell leaves to cherish his memories his mother; his wife, Rohanda Chatman; children, Kadaisha Owens, Kadartaisha Owens, Kemetria Jenkins, Latonya Robison, A’Miracle Owens, Madison Owens, Allen Fuller, Ja’Kaliya Fuller, and Taniya Ruby; grandchildren, Kascii Owens, Travion Brown, Zyzer Owens, Keymarion Owens, and Trinity Zetherin; brothers and sisters, Gerard Hunt, Sandor Hunt, Tony Hunt, Vicky Hunt, Wayne Hunt, Pamela Hunt, Rosha Hunt; uncles, Michael (Carolyn) Owens and Augsta Owens; special cousins, Eddie Long, Nikki Green-Townsend, and Helen Owens; special friends, Author Jenkins, Nicole Fuller, and James Banks.

Darrell was an excellent staff member and will be missed by all of us at Marshall Funeral Home.
