FAYETTE – Funeral services for Theresa Selmon Harried, 65, of Natchez, who departed this earthly life on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023, in Jackson, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Forest Grove Baptist Church in Fayette with Pastor Michael Hoggatt officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home – Fayette branch.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024, at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Theresa was born Oct. 25, 1958, in Natchez, the daughter of Luvenia Wilson Selmon and Mose Selmon. She was a 1977 graduate of Liddell High School. She was employed with Crown Health and Rehab for over 22 Years. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Shumario Sha Anthony Harried; brothers, Nolen Selmon and David Selmon; and sister, Katie Lee Harried.

Theresa leaves to cherish her memories: her sons, Billy Wayne Harried, Jr., and Carl Felton, Jr.; daughter, Charneshia Harried; brothers, Larry Selmon (Janette) and Mose Selmon; sister, Katina Hawkins (Samuel); grandchildren, Kayla Harried, Del’Jayvien Harried, Kelci Bingham, and Zoey Nichols; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
