Natchez Fire Department responding to fire in Liberty Road area

UPDATE, 3:20 p.m.

Natchez Police Chief Cal Green confirmed that the fire department is on scene of the structure fire located just off of Liberty Road behind First Baptist Church in Natchez.

NATCHEZ — The Natchez Fire Department is at the scene of a fire in the area of Liberty Road.

Pillars of black smoke filled the sky just before 3 p.m. Saturday as responders made their way to the scene near Liberty Road and Oakhurst Drive.
