NATCHEZ — Because most of the Natchez Board of Aldermen are attending the Mississippi Municipal League Conference, the regularly-scheduled, second Tuesday of the month meeting of the Natchez Mayor and Board of Aldermen has been moved.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 16, at 11 a.m.

The mayor and aldermen met in a special meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 2, at 4 p.m. to make the meeting change.

The mayor and aldermen also will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 6 p.m. at its second monthly meeting.

The board’s regularly meets the second Tuesday of each month at 11 a.m. and the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. Both meetings are held in the Council Chamber at 115 S. Pearl St., Natchez, across from City Hall.
