NATCHEZ – Memorial services for Sandra J. Williams Overby, 83, of Natchez, who passed away on Dec. 19, 2023, at Adams County Nursing Home Natchez, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024, at Community Chapel Church of God at 11 a.m. with Bro. Bo Swilley and Michael Pace, Jr. officiating.
Memorial gathering will begin at 10:30 a.m. and the memorial service will start at 11 a.m. at Community Chapel Church of God.
Sandra was born on Feb. 1, 1940, in Olean, NY, to Mildred Edwards and James M. Williams Sr. Sandra was a member of Community Chapel Church of God, a Past Member of Natchez Garden Club, and President of the Local Corvette Club.
Sandra is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy J. Overby; one daughter, Shannon J. Overby; five brothers, James M. Williams Jr., A. F. (Bud) Williams, Robert L. Williams, Raymond G. Williams, and Ronald Williams.
Sandra leaves to cherish her memories, one grandson, Colton J. Overby; one sister, Marilyn W. Gallagher; three sisters-in-law, Lenell Snyder, Gail Tew, and Kay Williams; one brother-in-law, L. C. Murray (Elena); four nieces, Bonnie G Pace (Mike), Debbie McDonough, Shari Cupit (Guy) Adrienne Murray; six nephews, Donald Gallagher Jr., Jeffrey L. Gallagher (Jan), Kevin G. Gallagher (Mary Anne), Phillip Tew (Kerry), Steven Tew, and Christian Murray; Guy Williams and Jim Williams; special friends, Tammy Wilson, Anthony Townsend, Agustin, and Delia Castro; numerous great nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
