NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Theodora Johnson, 74, of Natchez, who passed away on Jan. 28, 2024, will be held on Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Anthony Okwum officiating under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation services will be held on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez and on Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. until the service time at the church.

Theodora, affectionately known as “Dodie”, was born on July 25, 1949, to Theodore and Minervia Bryant.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Louella Hooper.

“Dodie” leaves to cherish her memories her children: Shawn Carthon, Nicole Carthon, and Doreyan Carthon (grandson that she raised); five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Stella Anderson, Kenneth Bryant, and wife, Deborah Lois Bonds, and Theodore Bryant, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
