Adams County Circuit Court Cases — End Results

Wednesday, Feb. 14:

Terry Townsend pleaded guilty to burglary of a commercial building in Judge Blackwell’s court. Sentenced to five years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections, with full credit for any time served, suspended, to be served on formal reporting post-release supervision through the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Must pay all court costs and fees, including a $250.00 prosecution fee. Must pay restitution to the N & D Food Store in the amount of $400.00 in damages as a result of the defendant’s actions. All costs, fees, and restitution payments shall be paid to the Adams County Circuit Clerk, and shall be fully paid within six months from the date of this order.

Michael Shuan Simpson pleaded guilty to possession of a weapon by a convicted felon in Judge Blackwell’s court. Sentenced to 10 years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections, with full credit for any time served, suspended, to be served on post-release supervision with the first five years to be served on formal reporting post-release supervision through the Mississippi Department of Corrections, and the remaining five years to be served on informal non-reporting post-release supervision. Must pay all court costs and fees, including a $250.00 prosecution fee. All costs and fines shall be fully paid within six months from the date of this order.

Jordan Caston found guilty by a jury of second degree arson in Judge Blackwell’s court. Sentenced to serve 10 years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Must pay all court costs and fees, including a $250.00 prosecution fee.

Kenneth Fife pleaded guilty to grand larceny, of the value of more than $25,000.00, in Judge Blackwell’s court. Sentenced to 10 years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections, with full credit for any time served, suspended, to be served on post-release supervision with the first five years to be served on formal reporting post-release supervision through the Mississippi Department of Corrections, and the remaining five years to be served on informal non-reporting post-release supervision. Must pay all court costs and fees, including a $250.00 prosecution fee. All cost and fines shall be fully paid within six months from the date of this order.

 

Tuesday, Feb. 13:

Jamonta Williams pleaded guilty to burglary of a storehouse (Count II) in Judge Blackwell’s court. Pursuant to plea agreement, the State agreed to dismiss Count (attempted burglary). Sentenced to seven years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections, with full credit for any time served, with three years to serve, the remaining balance suspended, to be served on formal reporting post-release supervision through the Mississippi Department of Corrections for a period of four years. Must play all court costs and fees, including a $250.00 prosecution fee.

 

Natchez Municipal Court Cases — End Results

Wednesday, Feb. 14:

Daniel Alton Holmes, 51, pleaded guilty to malicious mischief. Sentenced to 30 days with 22 days suspended. Eight days credit for time served. Banned from La Fiesta. Fine set at $748.75.

Alex David Pearce, 31, pleaded guilty to shoplifting. Sentenced to 30 days with 22 days suspended. Eight days credit for time served. Banned from Natchez Market No. 1. Fine set at $748.75.

Michael Ray Lickliter, 39, charged with simple assault; attempt by fear of imminent serious bodily harm. Case dismissed.

Michael Ray Lickliter, 39, charged with violation of municipal criminal ordinances: discharge of firearm in the city limits. Case dismissed.

Callie Maria Burgess Baker, 38, charged with controlled substance: possession of paraphernalia. Case dismissed.

Callie Maria Burgess Baker, 38, pleaded guilty to controlled substance: illegal possession. Sentenced to 60 days with 56 days suspended. Four days credit for time served. Fine set at $748.75.

William Bryant Christian, 34, charged with DUI – refusal. Case dismissed.
