NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Johnny Latham, 72, of Natchez, who passed away on Feb. 17, 2024, will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Green Baptist Church with Elder George Marshall officiating under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial View Park Cemetery.

Visitation services will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024, at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez from 5 until 7 p.m. and on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 10 a.m. until the service time.

Johnny was born on April 3, 1951, in Adams County, MS, to Elizabeth Latham.

Johnny was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth “Dee-Dee” Washington; his grandparents, Emerson and Mary Latham, and James and Tennessee Butler; three aunts, Mary Hunt, Rosie Lee Knight, and Carrie Minor; two uncles, Johnny Latham and Andrew Butler; two sisters, Tennessee L. Linston and Rosie L. Williams; three brothers, Alexander Latham, Ronnie Latham and David Latham; brother-in-law, Percy Williams, and one niece, Shelia Latham.

Johnny leaves to cherish his ‘memories; his loving and devoted mother, Elizabeth Latham; three brothers, Emerson Latham (Jennifer) of Jackson, MS, John Henry Latham and Paul Latham (Catherine) both of Natchez, MS; two sisters, Mary Williams (Willie) of Natchez, MS and Alice Minor (Maurice) of Baton Rouge, LA; five uncles, James Butler, Jr., Charlie Latham (Angie) both of Natchez, MS,  Larry Latham of Detroit, MI, Freddie Latham (Danielle) of Fort Wayne, IN, and Albert Latham of TX; three aunts, Lillie Mae Anderson of Natchez, MS, Mary Alice Latham of Detroit, MI, and Corrine Latham of CA; five step-children, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
