NATCHEZ — Some once-in-a-lifetime trips and gifts will be auctioned off on Saturday at the Save the Hall Ball Saturday night.

The Save the Hall Ball is an annual fundraiser hosted by the Pilgrimage Garden Club, which benefits preservation efforts at Stanton Hall and Longwood. The black tie affair begins at 8 p.m. and ends with a late night brunch at midnight at The Carriage House, 401 High St.

The dance band Radio Incorporated with provide entertain. Tickets are $100 each.

Honorary chairmen for this year’s Ball are John and Valerie Bergeron and Wes and Tammy Pack.

Auction items include a one-week stay during the month of April in the Hamptons. The stay is in Ocean Road Escape, a beautifully restored 1860s barn home in Bridgehampton, New York, with four bedrooms and three baths on 1.5 acres of property.

Other trips are included, too, including a deer hunting trip to Rifle Point, a one week stay at the Deer Valley Luxury Retreat in Deer Valley, Utah, a three-night stay in Costa Rica and a three-night stay in a four-bedroom condo at The Enclave in Orange Beach.

Another prized auction item getting lots of buzz on social media is a custom-designed evening gown by Natchez’s own Laine Berry of Restoration Nation and Restoring Hope.

Berry at one time was a couture gown designer.

“I am so excited to be offering something extra special for the auction this year, a custom-designed, one of a kind Laine Berry Couture gown,” Berry said. “Think your daughter might be on the Royal Court next year? Or maybe you want something extra special for Royalty Ball or Save the Hall Ball next year. I can’t wait to see who I’ll be creating something spectacular for!”
