NATCHEZ — Adams County Christian School’s junior varsity and varsity baseball games that were scheduled for last Friday afternoon at Centerville Academy were rained out, Rebels head coach Jake Winston said.

It is unknown at this point whether those games would be rescheduled or not. ACCS takes on Loyd Star Attendance Center at 4:30 p.m. Monday at the Spring Break @ Southwest Mississippi Community College Tournament in Summit.

But unlike MAIS District 4-5A and cross-town rival Cathedral High School, which after its game against Brookhaven Academy earlier in the afternoon does not play again until next week, ACCS has a couple of more games this week despite being Spring Break for both schools.

The Rebels will host Silliman Institute on Tuesday with the JV game at 4 p.m., followed by the varsity game at 6 p.m.

ACCS was originally scheduled to travel to Clinton, La. to take on Silliman Institute on Friday, but Winston said because of rain in the forecast that day, the junior varsity and varsity games between the two teams at Silliman will now take place this Wednesday with the JV game at 4 p.m. and the varsity game at 6 p.m.
