NATCHEZ – We are sad to announce the passing of Teresa Anne Cooley Floyd of Natchez, MS. Anne passed away surrounded by her family at age 58, on March 22, 2024.

Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 29, 2024, at Laird Funeral Home with services to follow at noon.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Anne is the daughter of Leonard Bernard Cooley of Natchez, MS, and Marlene Chisholm Cooley of Charlotte, NC. Anne was born in Rockingham, NC.

Anne is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Holley and husband, Travis Holley of Natchez, MS and Jasmine Bass and husband, Hunter Bass of Saint Joseph, LA; her father, Leonard Cooley; her sisters, Janet Ballard of Natchez, MS and Elizabeth Bramlett and husband, Barry Bramlett of Monroe, GA; her brother, John Cooley of Grand Junction, CO; her grandchildren, Troy Holley and Evelyn Holley; her niece, Nicole Taylor, husband, Ryan Taylor, and their children Harrison Taylor and Charlotte Taylor of Brandon, MS; and nephews, Shane Kokko and his daughter, Eevee and Benjamin Kokko, wife, Katrina Kokko,  and their son, Logan.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Marlene Cooley; her nephew, Donnie Ballard; her brother-in-law, Don Ballard; and her husband, Ted Floyd.
