Natchez police are investigating an early Easter morning shooting in a parking lot on the corner of Main Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Street.
Multiple squad cars were on the scene after the shooting occurred. Witnesses report hearing a series of gunshots shortly before 3 a.m.
Officers cordoned off an area with crime scene tape surrounding the parking lot at the corner of Main and MLK streets.
An ambulance was called to the scene and was attending to one victim.
