NATCHEZ — A C-Spire fiber optics line located north of Natchez has been cut by a construction crew and the result is cell phone and internet service is down for many Natchez area customers.

Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said 15 area cell towers have been affected.

No word yet as to how long it will take to repair the line or restore service.
