NATCHEZ – Services for Leda Watkins Moore, 94, of Vidalia who died Saturday, April 27, 2024, in Vidalia, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2024, at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Glen Roberts officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 until 2 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2024, at Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Moore was born May 29, 1929, in Harrisonburg, LA the daughter of Henry Ezell Watkins and Bertha Scruggs Watkins.

She loved working in her yard, playing Skip-Bo, and drinking coffee with her friends and family. She will be greatly missed. 

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Moore; parents, Henry and Bertha Watkins; son, Jerry Stroud, and wife, Trish Stroud; brothers, Gene Watkins, Glenn Watkins, Sherman Watkins, and Henry Watkins, Jr., and sisters, Marie Brown, Shirley Watkins, Doris Watkins, and Elvie Faulkner.

Survivors include her son, Charles Stroud (Pat Stroud); daughter, Jackie Beach (Alford Beach); grandkids, Kim Strawbridge (Andy), Jodie Magee (Kenneth), Christy Delaney (Clayton), Josh Stroud, and Chelsea Jacobs (Jake); great-grandkids, Brandon, Kaylee, Drew, Marlee, Preslee, Morgan, Carley, Ethan, Sophia, Decklyn, Valerie, Everly, Riven, and Casen; great-grandkids, Blakely, Laikyn, Millie, Roby, Hayes, Briar, and Grace. 

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Magee, Jake Jacobs, Drew Strawberry, Brandon Sanders, Josh Stroud, and Ethan Stroud.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Gilbert and Robbie Watkins.
