FERRIDAY, La.— A Texas man has been arrested by U.S. Marshals and Fort Worth Police after Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office Cyber Crime Unit discovered him engaging in sexual conversations and soliciting lewd photos from what he believed to a child online.

According to CPSO, Evan Brookes Shannon, 33, was positively identified by detectives and an arrest warrant was obtained and entered into NCIC.

He was then taken into custody today by the U.S. Marshals Service and the Fort Worth Police Department and will be extradited to Louisiana for prosecution.

Shannon is charged by CPSO with indecent behavior with juveniles.

Anyone who is arrested is presumed innocent until proven guilty, authorities said.
