RABUN GAP, GA – Sandra Credle Gilbert, age 74, of Rabun Gap, GA passed away on April 30, 2024. Sandra was born on May 5, 1949, in Natchez, MS to the late Annie Jo Davis and the late Benjamin Silas Credle. After school, she spent her days working as a nurse before founding and operating her own nursing staffing agency. Sandra enjoyed boating in Abaco, Bahamas. She loved her husband, Bob, and her two sons. Sandra has been married to the love of her life for a wonderful 57 years. She also enjoyed spending time with her dogs.

In addition to her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by her grandmother, Annie Mae Godard; and nephew, James E. “Trey” Neely III.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband, Robert F Gilbert Jr.; children, Robert F. Gilbert III (Molly) and Benjamen Bryan Gilbert (Becca); brothers, Edward Lupton Credle (Beth), Benjamin Scott Credle; nieces and nephews, Christy Manning (Matt), Dawn Quaranta (Mike), Melody Smith (Justin), Ashley Box (DJ), Lauren Dial (Jacob), and Benji Credle (Jessi); sister-in-law, Sheryl Neeley (Jimmy) as well as numerous, much loved great nieces and nephews.
