Last week at the Natchez Convention Center, the Natchez-Adams County Department of Workforce Development hosted the Miss Lou Career & Resource Fair on Thursday at the Natchez Convention Center, showcasing 35 different local vendors in the Miss Lou. More than 150 guests browsed and learned about the career options and workforce development resources available in the Miss-Lou area, including a new Mississippi Coding Academy soon to appear at the Steckler Multipurpose Building by Natchez Middle School in August; the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services which offers independent living assistance to residents with disabilities; and much more.
