FERRIDAY – Funeral services for James Johnson, Sr., 48, of Ferriday will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 11 a.m. from Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson, son of Walter and Barbara McCoy Johnson, was born in Natchez and died at his residence in Ferriday.
He leaves to cherish his memories: four children, James Johnson, Jr., James Lott, Ja’Myia Johnson, and La’Kyia Lott; one brother, Walter Johnson, Jr. (Tangela), and one sister, Cynthia Johnson all of Ferriday; one aunt, Shirley Rice of Vidalia and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceding Mr. Johnson in death are his parents; two brothers, Eric and Dyron Johnson, and three sisters, Stephanie Johnson, Sarah Watson, and Miranda Johnson.
